2018 - 2019 Lodge Officers
Russ was born in a small rural town in northeast Ohio, the fourth of eight children.  After he graduated High School he entered the US Coast Guard and then the US Army.  He was discharged honorably with the rank of Sergeant.  Upon his discharge from the military, Russ brought his family to Central Florida.  He has worked primarily in the manufacturing industry starting as a machinist and worked his way into management.  For the better part of 25 years, Russ has worked for Custom Metal Designs in Oakland Florida.  In January, 2012 Russ married the love of his life, Denise Kalman.  Together they are very proud parents of 4 sons and 1 daughter.  Two of their sons are veterans of the recent war in Afghanistan.  Russ has a true burden for the veterans and their plights today.  Russ is a very happy man and is always looking to make the lives’ of around him a little lighter.  He is an avid football fan and loves to play golf.  Russ is a Past Exalted Ruler (PER) of the Southlake Elks Lodge #1848, and is very excited with the opportunity of rebuilding the Lodge, rekindling the friendships from the past and building new friendships as we grow.  Once again becoming an integral part of this community through the programs and activities the Elks offer.
